Tell me about yourself, what is your role and how long have you been working at Catalogic?
“I am a DevOps Engineer and I have been working at Catalogic around a year and 4 months. I started as an IT Administrator to handle a variety of issues from desktop support to general network or storage issues. In addition to this, I now maintain CI suites for ECX, DPX, and KubeDR along with creating provisioning services for different appliances that ECX, DPX, and KubeDR can test against. My other responsibilities include me helping around the office in troubleshooting appliance faults, bugs with Release Engineering, QA, and Dev.”
What was your first impression of Catalogic?
“My first impression of Catalogic was that it was a small-knit group of individuals carving out a niche in the market.”
Could you talk me through what you’ve been working on lately?
“Some of the things I have been working on lately include vSphere VM Snapshot reporting for development, improvements in Ansible scripts for the ECX CI Pipeline, ensuring consistency across runs, creating a CI pipeline for our AWS cloud presence using Concourse CI and Terraform, exploring Rancher as a piece to handle long-running CI/CD for a production Kubernetes environment, and improving/maintaining of a generalized Ansible Front-End (AWX) to give development a self-serve GUI to deploy:
What do you like most about working at Catalogic?

What do you like to do in your free time?
“In my free time I read Western/Eastern philosophy.”
